Devlog #6


Alright, I've got some bad news. I will not be able to release the update tomorrow. I wish I had a really good reason or honestly that it was just ready but I don't really. It's just not in a state I want for release. Like I promised I am pausing billing and putting a halt to any new subscriptions on both Patreon and Subscribestar. I still want to release the preview build within the month, but realistically speaking I've proven that I'm not yet able to properly gage how long things take.

I know that realistically speaking there were always going to be growing pains in my first time developing a game yet I think we can all agree that it sucks. One of the factors is clearly that my productivity has tanked since the RAM issues I had and I've had some real difficulties getting back into the swing of things. That is probably a combination of personal failings, inexperience and some outside factors and it all just feels a bit shitty because I could've done better. I can do better. So that's exactly what I'll strive to do. Continue the work and try to improve my workflow. I thank all of you for your patience and support for this fledgling project and I promise you: no matter how long it takes I will get you the next part of the story and hopefully you'll be there to see it. No hard feelings if you aren't.
